The interior of the house, typical of those around it, was simple with sliding wooden shutters and, while there was no furniture visible other than some cupboards for kitchen storage- one sits on mats on the wooden floor - it has it's own separate and elaborate altar room.Do you recall the daily water bowl ceremony as mentioned below?
