Trip Day 1-Bird and Flower Market

According to the guide books and our trip information the Kumming Bird and Flower Market is one of the top sites for tourists to visit. Sadly, we were told that the market was under construction and in fact barely existed as touted. Seems everything old is being torn down making way for the new, upscale and pricey indoor market that will take over the space. Still, there was quite a bit to see, all colorful and some exotic.
