MY WALK TODAY

Reflections in a pond beside the Snake River. As I look at the very blue sky in this picture, the clear air that I was aware of at the time, I think of the horrific fires in Colorado, consider the high threat right where we are and am so grateful that so far all is wonderfully well.
This little duck is a Morganza. I love this duck and it's solitary independence. A duck like this, perhaps this very one, has visited our pond this year. It seems so happy just paddling along without a tribe. Mostly we have Mallards and, to be fair, I love them too.
