SPRING TIME IN THE ROCKIES
A beautiful walk on the Moose Wilson Road this afternoon.
Actually the snow is slowly disappearing in the valley. Temps are forecast to be near 50 in a few days and rain is likely. Daffodils are suggesting an appearance in the front yard. A few night ago I heard the geese returning and someone saw a robin on the other side of the mountains.

MARCH UP OPR IN MARCH
The "dog" spring that is so beautiful every summer morning is trying to emerge.
Odd picture. Explanation: right foot on top of the snow, left post holed up to the knee. Being attached to both, I could not get a better angle!
Almost to the lake on spring soft snow and with a fair amount of post holing along the way in 50 minutes. In the summer, and even during the winter on good skier and snow board packed snow, it takes about 25 minutes to get to the lake.
And..just beyond those willows, Crater Lake. Alas, this was as close as I could get being in possession of a reasonable intention to keep both right and left legs intact and with a hearty desire to be hiking this most- special- to- me hill again and often this summer.
