WORKING OFF THE PIE?

Decided this morning to venture out Moose Wilson Road for my walk.  What you see above is solid ice ...but....doable...with cleats, which I had, doable.  As the only person out there I admit to being very careful and being very aware that I had my phone on me.
Soon, if forecasts are correct we will have some snow and then better options will open up.  Soon, this walk will be a ski or a snowshoe jaunt.  The trees will be and likely stay covered in snow and the whole place will take on an air of magic.  Today was perfect for calorie burn.....

...that we couldn't help ourselves, we had to make a movie of this puppy who seems so constantly to elicit the words "so stinking cute!"

OOPS....

On a little neighborhood walk we run into a proper snowstorm. it was at the furtherest point, where i always turn around.  I had to carry her a little ways.  By the time we got back home we were both covered with snow.  Dolce is thinking~ I think my mother ( the so called alpha dog) is insane.
