THE SPIDER WEB STUFF WAS IN THIS YEAR - i picture a door to door spider web stuff guy doing very well

AND OF COURSE THE S W STUFF HAD SPIDERS EMBEDDED.  OOOOOO

 SKELETON WITH HIS DOG AND MONSTER SPIDER

EVEN THE MOST PALATIAL ABODES ARE COMMITTED TO HAUNTS

INCHING TOWARD WINTER

The cottonwoods, not the most beautiful trees in the land but briefly resplendent in the fall, have had their day.  A few aspens here and there are holding on admirably to their golds and reds.  Mostly though the leaves of fall are blanketing the ground and pond.

And all of a sudden...

...it is time to take in the hammocks, store the outdoor cushions and make soup.
